Jeanine Vaughn, LMFT

It's okay to be exhausted, overwhelmed, and at your capacity. You want to feel better, but struggle to find the motivation, words, or energy to begin. You may feel disconnected from those around you, or even yourself. You may be looking to heal, make lifestyle changes, or you're seeking a safe space to share the stressors of your life. I believe therapy as a journey to self-love, acceptance, understanding, and connectivity. Together, we will create obtainable goals of growth and change through various coping strategies, interventions, and discussions to increase better insight into your needs.

I work with adults utilizing strengths-based approaches to explore themselves and their relationships to gain better insight to break cycles of negative thinking and encourage change. Partners and family members are always invited to participate in your healing! I have experience working with clients through anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, life stressors/adjustments, transitions of life, emotion regulation, self-esteem, and relationship issues. Throughout treatment we will draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Narrative Solutions to engage in curiosity around these patterns and work towards a place of making change. Together, we will reconnect you with your best self!

I believe it's important to feel comfortable and find someone who you feel can be your guide for change! I love reading (fantasy, romance, and sci-fi!) and playing (or re-playing) video games! Narratives have always spoken to me and have inspired me to help others find empowerment and connection with parts of themselves. I also enjoy exploring new areas with my golden retriever, Tali, and getting time outside! A pivotal part of our work together is to highlight and explore these parts of yourself to increase motivation and hope for change.

You are capable of achieving change. I believe the early steps to success is through learning and validating the parts of yourself that feel like "you". You deserve a positive change in yourself, relationships, and in managing daily stressors in your life. I utilize a humanistic and warm approach to explore insight and confidence in your growth.
