Lauren DePietro, LADC

I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to live their best life. My approach is rooted in compassion, clarity, and practical support. I apply my extensive experience and knowledge to help those with a desire to grow, adjust, change, and evolve into their best selves.

I have a Master’s Degree in Human Services Counseling and am a Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor. I have significant experience working with those that suffer with substance abuse and addiction as well as anxiety, depression, grief and other life stressors. I also specialize in supporting the partners, parents, siblings, and close friends of individuals struggling with addiction. When someone you love is facing substance use or addiction, the ripple effects can be overwhelming—bringing confusion, fear, guilt, and helplessness. Whether you're dealing with active addiction, recovery, or the uncertainty in between, you're not alone. Working together, I will help empower you to make better choices and recognize your potential.

I have experience collaborating with State and Federal Probation, as well as DCF for those that are mandated for treatment. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Enhancement Therapy and am certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I truly enjoy my work, and will work with you in a confidential, supportive, and encouraging environment. Together, we’ll work toward healing, clarity, and strength—on your terms.

Lauren is in-network with most Optum, Aetna, Husky, Anthem, Medicare and Cigna plans. She offers individual and family therapy via telehealth.
